How Users Can Subscribe to Your Channel
Direktt makes it easy for users to join your channel - whether they’re shopping in-store, browsing online, or following your social media. There are three ways to subscribe, all designed to be quick and user-friendly.
1. Subscribe by Scanning a QR Code
- Where to use: Print or display your QR code in-store, on product materials, or digital ads.
- How to find your QR code:
- In the Direktt Admin Console, under Channel Info - “Channel’s Subscription QR Code”.
- Or in WordPress wp-admin under Direktt > Dashboard.
- How users join:
- Open the camera app on your phone - no need to have Direktt mobile app installed
- Point the camera at the QR code.
- If not installed, users are prompted to download the Direktt app first.
2. Subscribe via Subscription Link
- Where to use: Share the unique subscription link in your social media posts, on your website, or anywhere you engage your audience.
- How to find your link:
- In the Direktt Admin Console, under Channel Info - “Url for Channel Subscription”.
- Or in Direktt > Dashboard in WordPress.
- How users join:
- Tap the link (e.g., from social media or blog).
- If Direktt app is not installed, user is prompted to install it.
- After opening in Direktt app, user subscribes with a single tap.
3. Subscribe by Channel Handle
- Where to use: Share your channel handle (unique identifier, e.g. “pineapple_pizzeria”) with your audience.
- How to define handle:
- Set your channel handle in Direktt Admin Console under Channel Info.
- How users join:
- In the Direktt app, tap Add Channel.
- Enter your channel’s handle in the search bar.
- When a match is found, tap Add.
- Get confirmation that the channel is added.
Policy Agreement on Subscription
- When users subscribe (by QR, link, or handle), they must accept your Channel Policy if defined in the Direktt Admin Console (under “Channel Policy” tab).
- If no policy is set, users are informed that the policy is missing.
- Users must tap Agree to join (or Cancel).
What if User Doesn't Have the Direktt App?
- When scanning the QR code or tapping the link, users without the app will be prompted to install Direktt before subscribing.

Admin Features in the Direktt Mobile App
The Direktt mobile app lets channel administrators manage communication, send bulk messages, and access admin-specific links - right from their mobile device.
Here’s how to use the admin tools and manage channels on the go.
Switching to Admin Mode
- Open the Direktt App and tap More in the bottom-right corner.
- On More screen, tap the Switch to Admin mode button.
Managing Admin Channels
- In Admin mode, your home tab (Channels) lists all channels you manage as “Admin Channels.”
- Tap a channel to open its admin dashboard.
Admin Channel Dashboard Features
1. Channel Chats
- View and respond to subscriber chats as an admin.
- Access past conversations and notifications.
2. Bulk Messaging
- Tap Send Bulk Messages (visible in Admin mode).
- Write a message and send it to all channel subscribers at once.
- Useful for announcements, updates, or promotions.
3. Admin Links (Admin Services)
Admin Links let you quickly access connected admin tools and resources for each channel.
- Service examples: bulk message templates, categorization/tags, and other management tools.
- Find your admin links in the “Services” section of the channel dashboard. These appear as blue buttons.
To add or edit Admin Links:
- In the web admin console, go to your channel’s Admin Links tab.
- Click Add New Admin Link or use the pencil icon to edit.
- Set a descriptive name, URL, and target (browser/app), then click Submit.
- App: Opens the link within the Direktt app (in-app browser/WebView).
- Browser: Opens the link in your device’s default browser.
- You can drag and drop links in the admin console to reorder how they appear in the app.

Tips
- Use clear names for Admin Links so it’s obvious what each shortcut does within the app.
- Switch back to User mode from the More menu when you want to interact as a regular subscriber.
- Message delivery via bulk messaging respects the subscriber limits of your current plan.
